MacCoy Home Solutions’ Role in Supporting the Center
Our involvement with the Lynnwood Neighborhood Center grew naturally from our values as a company. We’ve always believed that being a local business means more than serving customers—it means participating in the life of the community.
Aaron and Marie MacCoy, owners of MacCoy Home Solutions, were honored to participate on the steering committee for the Lynnwood Neighborhood Center, working alongside other community leaders to help guide the vision and planning of the space. Being part of those conversations reinforced something we’ve seen time and again: when people with different perspectives come together around a shared mission, the result is stronger and more sustainable.
In addition to participating in the planning process, MacCoy Home Solutions has committed to donating installation labor for a future playground shade structure that will be part of the Center’s outdoor space. While the playground is still in development, this contribution reflects our belief that safe, thoughtful environments—especially for kids—are a critical part of community health.
Our role has never been about ownership or recognition. It’s about partnership, support, and being present where our skills and resources can help make a difference.

The Rotary Club has played an important role by contributing to the playground structures, helping create a space where children can play safely and families can gather. Trinity Lutheran Church has also been instrumental, both as a partner in the planning process and as a long-standing supporter of community-focused initiatives in Lynnwood.
The Center is also closely connected to the work of the Jaguars Community Organization, which hosts its weekly Open Gym program at the same location every Tuesday evening. Open Gym brings together kids from across the community for sports, games, art activities, and connection—creating an inclusive environment where everyone belongs.
These partnerships show what’s possible when organizations align around shared values. Each group brings something different to the table, and together they create an impact that no single organization could achieve alone.

Programs like Jaguars Open Gym bring the space to life week after week. On any given Tuesday evening, you’ll see kids playing volleyball or basketball, volunteers setting out art supplies and games, music playing, and new faces being welcomed into the group. These moments matter. They’re small on the surface, but they create the sense of belonging that strengthens communities over time.
We see the Lynnwood Neighborhood Center as part of a broader ecosystem of care—one that supports people not just in moments of crisis, but in everyday life.
